This accelerated 80 clock-hour package includes three Digidesign Certified courses and a Mixing course. Upon successfully completing the courses, you will take your Digidesign, a division of Avid, exam for Certification. This package goes in depth into sophisticated sound recording, mixing, and editing techniques as well as beat detective, MIDI, elastic audio and much more. The final course in this package teaches you not only the “science” of mixing, but also the art. You will work with sophisticated HD systems and control surfaces throughout the curriculum. Upon successfully completing the courses, you will take your Digidesign exam for Certification.

Pro Tools 8, 201 is a Digidesign Certified course that develops the skills needed to operate a Pro Tools 8 system in a professional studio environment. Students are introduced to professional Pro Tools 8 HD systems, control surfaces and develop skills in editing, mixing and session management and automation.

Pro Tools 8, 210M is a Digidesign Certified course that completes the skills needed to competently operate a sophisticated Pro Tools 8 system in a professional environment with a focus on music production. This is the final course needed prior to testing for the DOCM (Digidesign Operator Certification in Music).
