Have you ever wanted to use Pro Tools on the plane or at the park?

Well I know you could already do that with the Mbox 2 family. But coming up in the first two weeks of November, it's gonna get even easier and more compact. I’ve always wanted a solution for just simply playing back sessions, arranging or jamming with some virtual instruments. Well now Digidesign is introducing the Mbox 2 Micro! Wow this is going to be a hot asset to every Pro Tools user; it will enable you to edit, sequence and mix sessions created on all systems while on the go (i.e. HD or LE). It’s the size of a typical USB flash drive, and has a 1/8-inch stereo output for headphone or speaker monitoring (no audio inputs) and a volume knob.

Also coming soon is Pro Tools 7.4 -- this release will enhance anyone’s workflow. As a remix artist, I work with looped material sometimes and the new elastic audio thing is going to increase workflow tremendously.

With Pro Tools 7.4 and the Micro coming soon, editing loops and rocking out with your favorite virtual instruments will be as easy as it gets. So be on the look-out for this new Mbox 2 Micro -- it’s sleek and small to take you and your Pro Tools anywhere you need to go!
