Our training staff includes some of the most esteemed
personalities in the field of music technology.
Our Faculty:

Albums, 12 Grammy Awards and several hundred
books and articles in major trade publications.
They have worked with some of the biggest names
in the audio industry including Aerosmith, Ricky
Martin, TLC, U2, Steely Dan, Outkast, Ozzy Osbourne,
Frank Sinatra, The Dixie Chicks. We believe
that having significant real world experience
is critical to successful training.

Craig Anderton is an internationally-recognized
authority on music and technology. He is currently
Executive Editor for EQ Magazine and Editor-in-Chief
for harmonycentral.com.
He is known for his books (Home Recording
for Musicians, Mixing and Mastering with Cubase
SX/SL, The Sonar Insider, etc.) and for musical
projects in both the U.S. and Europe. He has
given seminars on technology and the arts
in 37 states and 10 countries, enthralling
audiences with a combination of down-to-earth
tips and demystified high-level theory. He
is a member of the Cologne, Germany-based
group Rei$$dorf Force. |

Mihai Boloni is a talented engineer and long-time
Pro Tools educator who is fortunate to draw
from over a decade of experience in the music
production industry. Mihai is a Certified
Expert Instructor who has an array of Pro
Tools experience, which ranges from composition
to post-production. As an industry professional
he knows first-hand the value of Pro Tools
mastery for artists, producers and engineers.
As an instructor he loves sharing that value
with his students in order to foster solid
opportunities in artistry and creativity.

James Creer brings over two decades of experience
in music production and education. Starting
as a well-recognized, young MIDI expert in
the 80’s, James grew into a multi-talented
musician, engineer, producer and educator.
His real world experiences range from professional
recording and touring musician to engineer/producer
to Full Sail Course Director and educator.
James has been a Digidesign enthusiast since
the days of Sound Tools and continues to be
a leader in the world of Pro Tools HD. His
credits include The Genitorturers, Sam Rivers,
Steven Segal and Astro & Gylde. |

Mike Cruz brings a unique perspective into
the world of Pro Tools for post-production.
He spent several years at Digidesign in Daly
City, CA and in Hollywood working on feature
films and television dramas. He has worked
on such projects as Fox Searchlight’s
Thirteen, Lions Gate's Cabin Fever, MGM's
Walking Tall, New Market Film's P.S., Showtime’s
The L Word, IMAX's Grand Canyon, and Lil'
Flip's Sunshine music video. Mike is also
an Avid editor and a musician/composer bringing
an even broader perspective to the classroom.
He is equally at home teaching music and post-production. |

Terron Darby has been an active Pro Tools
educator and engineer for over a decade. He
is a Digidesign Certified Expert Instructor.
He has significant experience with MIDI and
Post-Production. He has recorded, remixed
or mastered some of the top International
and American dance music artists. He has worked
with such artists as Brazilian singer Rose
Max, European artists Raccoon and DJNA, and
U.S. dance music artists Patrick Green, Robbie
Rivera, Cosmo, and Edgar V. As an engineer,
Terron is adept at Pro Tools artistry in music
and post-production environments. |

Charles Dye is a multi-platinum, Grammy-winning
engineer, mixer, producer and educator. His
credits include Lauryn Hill, Jon Bon Jovi,
Julio Iglesias, Sammy Hagar, Jennifer Lopez,
Poe, Shakira, Aerosmith, Gloria Estefan, Ricky
Martin among others. Charles is best known
for being the first engineer to mix a Number
One record (Ricky Martin’s Livin’
La Vida Loca) completely in Pro Tools. Charles
has designed a mixing curriculum to get amazing
sounds with plug-ins, breathe emotion into
the music with automation, and make the artist
sound like a star. |

David Frangioni is a pioneer in music technology.
He is the recipient of over 65 Gold and Platinum
Albums as technical consultant, engineer,
and/or programmer. He mixed the first ever
5.1 CD release featuring Boyz-II-Men and Seal,
and produced and programmed two of the best
selling Sample CD's of all-time (Dance/Industrial
I & II). He has worked closely with Aerosmith
for almost 20 years. He is an active contributor
to EQ magazine and has written for or been
featured in hundreds of trade publications.

Mark Hornsby has a deep background in audio
engineering, audio technology and the music
business. Mark co-owned one of the largest
recording and rehearsal studios in South Florida.
He developed sound libraries and aided in
plug-in development for a variety of high-profile
audio technology companies including IK Multimedia
and Sonic Reality. He writes for several music
technology publications including Recording
Magazine. As an engineer, he won two awards
for engineering in the a cappella field, and
he has worked with a number of highly-successful
artists including Jerry Marotta, Jon Anderson,
Danny Gottlieb, and John Blackwell. |

Johnny Marshall is a music producer, engineer
and sound designer with over 25 years of professional
experience in the audio industry. He spearheaded
the development of the largest audio music
and post-production facility in the Southwest
where he worked with such artists as Stevie
Ray Vaughan, ZZ Top, Phil Collins, and Pantera.
Johnny currently heads Marshall Sound Design,
a sound editorial company that produces indie
artists and provides complete audio post-production
services for video and film. |

Roger Nichols is a world-renowned, seven time
Grammy Award-winning engineer. He has worked
with many artists including Steely Dan, Frank
Sinatra, the Beach Boys, Reba McIntyre, John
Denver, Gloria Estefan, Placido Domingo among

the recording curriculum for the Musicians
Institute of Hollywood and writes a regular
column (over 13 years) and equipment reviews
for EQ Magazine. |

David Rosenblad has spent the last twenty-something
years in almost every aspect of the sound
and music industry, as a sound designer, composer,
music producer, sound editor and recording/mix
engineer . He is president/owner of DRM Productions,
Inc and it’s studio facility sir reel
sound in Dallas.. His company provides comprehensive
post audio services for documentaries , feature
films, episodic television, as well as TV
and radio commercials, and music projects
with clients including PBS, HBO, MTV, HDnet,
History Channel , Think Film, New Films International
and many others. He has worked with a wide
variety of music artists such as Herbie Mann,
Freddy Fender, the deathray davies, Everclear,
Stevie Ray Vaughan, Allan Holdsworth, Cheap
Trick, Maynard Ferguson, and Brave Combo. |

Ed Seay is a renowned mixing engineer with
over three decades of experience in various
genres including Country, R&B, Christian,
Pop, Adult Contemporary, Dance, and Rock.
He mixed the first #1 song on the country
charts in Pro Tools. He has a wealth of experience
having worked with high-profile artists including
Blake Shelton, Martina McBride, Ricky Skaggs,
Hank Williams, Jr., Paul Davis, Collin Raye,
Pam Tillis, Melissa Manchester, Ricky Skaggs,
and John Prine's Grammy-winning effort, among

Partial Client List). He has numerous
Gold and Platinum Albums and several dozen
songs that have reached #1. |

Phil Tan is currently one of the most experienced
and successful mixers in the American music
scene. Phil Tan's work has appeared on albums
and singles that have sold in excess of
a staggering 150 million in the U.S. He
specialises in R&B and Hip-Hop, and
his credits include Usher, Snoop Dogg, the
Neptunes, Fergie, Ne-Yo, Nelly, Ludacris,
Destiny's Child, Gwen Stefani, Mariah Carey,
Alicia Keys, Janet Jackson, Busta Rhymes,
Aretha Franklin, Elton John, Cee-Lo, Toni
Braxton, Run DMC and many, many more. He
has numerous Gold and Platinum Albums, is
currently serving his second term as Trustee
for the Recording Academy, and was nominated
for Album of the Year for Usher’s
Confessions. Since the early '90's, Phil
has put his definitive stamp on some of
Hip-Hop and R&B's biggest hits, including
recent Billboard #1's by Usher and Snoop
Dogg. Phil represents a new breed of mixers
who know and respect the rules of engineering
but are perfectly comfortable breaking outside
of the box to enhance the creativity of
the mix. |

Michael Wynne is an award winning sound
designer, composer and music producer based
out of Atlanta Georgia. He completed his
music studies at the University of N Florida
in 1993 in the Jazz Studies program with
focus on guitar. Today he is a freelance
instructor for ProMedia Training and does
audio work for companies like Turner, Lionsgate,
Coca Cola and Nikon. Michael brings a wealth
of knowledge to ProMedia students and a
strong commitment to their success with
a specialty in sound design and new media
applications. |
