Sallie Mae Definitions
Loan Amount
The Loan Amount is the TOTAL of your Tuition Amount and Additional Expense Amount.  The tuition amount represents the cost of your training. The Additional Expense represents the cost of additional personal expenses and is paid directly to you.  You may request up to 60% of your tuition amount for your additional expenses amount.  So if you request $1000 for your tuition amount you could request another $600 for your additional expenses amount.

Repayment Term Requested
This is the length of your loan.  This can be a short as 1 year or as long as 15 years.  You may pay back  your loan as quickly as you would like.   We suggest students opt for longer  repayment terms (such as ten or fifteen years) because this produces lower interest and monthly payments rates. Again, you may pay the loan off as quickly as you would like.

Interest Only Payments
This option allows you to pay only the interest on the loan for up to 12 months.  This option is especially helpful for students who will be receiving limited income after training.

Tuition Amount
The tuition amount represents the cost of your training. If you have not received a pricing guideline for training please call us at (888)277-0457 so we may help determine which courses work best for you.  You may also sign up on the website to be contacted.  Be sure to mention that you need pricing for your Sallie Mae application.

Graduation Date
This is the last day which completes your Pro Tools Training courses.

Additional Expenses Amount
You may request funding in addition to your Tuition amount for your personal expenses.  You may request a loan for an additional 60% on top of your Tuition Amount for travel, equipment, lodging, etc. So if you request $1000 for your tuition amount you could request another $600 for your additional expenses amount.  A check will be sent directly to you.

School Disbursement Date
This is the date that Sallie Mae provides payment to the school and to you for your training.  This date must be 14 days before your first class begins.  If you are requesting a loan for a class that takes place less than fourteen days away, use today date.
